With great pleasure we would like to invite you to Wroclaw, the Capital of Lower Silesia, for Apnea Festiwal 2011, Poland’s first apnea diving festival. The event will be held on March 19-20th in the sport swimming pool of Wroclaw Water Park.

In the occasion of this two-day event there will be 2nd International Polish Pool Freediving Championship. The championship will cover all the pool disciplines. Additionally on the second day for the first time in Poland there will be the 1st Open Underwater Target Shooting Competition.

Freedivers’ championship will cover three disciplines – static apnea, dynamic with & without fins. Dynamic without fins will take place on Sunday, March 20th. On the same day spearfishermen will compete in underwater target shooting competitions, which are the individual shooting and biathlon. As additional points of interest we plan to present lot of demonstrations and interactive plays, which will be held all day at the recreational part of Wroclaw Water Park. We guarantee great fun for everyone who visit the swimming pool these days. We plan to show you the demonstration of water rescue, first medic aid and scuba diving. Any of you will have the opportunity to pass a first aid course and “feel the thrill” of scuba diving.

To the main hall of Wroclaw Water Park we would like to invite the biggest companies offering diving equipment, courses/training and diving trips. You will be able to see the full offer of our exhibitors and share your experience with people interested not only in freediving or spearfishing.

On Saturday after the competition there will be dinner and party for all competitors.

Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday after the competitions are finished.
